I thought Bonds ceased manufacturning in australian many years ago, it is owned by Pacific Brands as far as i know, and has many ethical concerns regarding use of human labour. Not trying to pee anyone off, but Im fairly sure this has been made very public over many years. I am sure this does not affect their baby photos, im just not sure people realize they are not Australian made items anymore.
ReplyDeleteNo one said they were Australian made items. I think you would be hard pressed to find any item of clothing that was manufactured in Australia unless it comes from an Aussie Etsy seller. I have pretty much only used Bonds clothes for my baby & I'm going to support their baby search.

ReplyDeleteYour oxfam link is for an article that has not been updated since 2010, a year after the company moved production overseas. The article says that they are working with Oxfam to fix the problem. Do you have a link to a recent, 2013, article that says this is still an issue? I have not been able to find one.
