Ah long weekends, oh how we will miss you. This weekend was the last long weekend until Christmas. No more public holidays, just full working weeks. For those who work full working weeks. We made good use of the long weekend this long weekend. I got a hair cut while Lulu & Nick had coffee time together in town, Nick & I saw a movie together while his mum watched Lulu, Nick competed in a 6 hour enduro with a team of three, we took down our saloon laundry and we weeded the garden. Not too bad. How was your weekend? Get up to much? I hope it was lovely.

It was a 'long weekend' here in Canada, too. But, since we're on vacation, every day feels like a long weekend! Today we sat on the deck in the 30C weather (under an umbrella, of course!), shelled fresh garden peas, and had cocktails starting at 4PM! When on vacation.... cocktail hour comes early!
